The Hockey News

● By Ryan Kennedy
Welcome to my final draft rankings of the year. The festivities are less than two weeks away and it's going to be exciting in Montreal, where the Canadiens always throw a proper party and have the added bonus of picking first this season. It has certainly been a chaotic draft year, but I'm sticking with my guns and ranking Shane Wright first overall. The rankings you see here are nearly identical to the ones you will find in Draft Preview (available now, cop that), but there have been some late developments - such as the ascent of Cutter Gauthier and Marco Kasper - that I had to note here. These rankings go to 120, to give you a sense of some of the sleepers that may be available later on in the draft and descriptions of the top 100 players are available in Draft Preview. Let's get to the list, shall we?
