Last week we projected the first 17 picks with the help of our staff of writers. Today I am releasing my own initial projection of how I think the first round of the 2022 NHL Draft will go. As most NHL teams have not yet had year-end meetings to put together their lists, this mock is not as intel-based as future iterations will be. Rather, I’ve tried to plug players in where I think it makes sense based on talent and fit, and where I’m hearing they are being projected range-wise around the league.
